About Us

The Fiji National Sports Commission (FNSC) is the Fiji Government agency responsible for supporting and developing sport at all levels across the country.

The Commission was established in 2013 under the Fiji National Sports Commission Act 2013 and operates in accordance with the laws of Fiji.

Our Governance

The Fiji National Sports Commission is governed by a Board of Commissioners appointed by the Minister of Youth & Sport.

The Board determines the overall strategic direction of the Commission, oversees the allocation of resources, and establishes policies for delegated decisions.

Our Role

Strengthening sport across Fiji through leadership, development, and targeted support.

The role of the Commission is to increase involvement in sport and enable continued international sporting success through leadership and development of the sports sector and targeted financial support. The Commission works with national sporting organizations, communities and stakeholders to strengthen the sporting ecosystem across Fiji.
